Weeknotes 001
I’ve been contemplating writing blogs in English for a while. I thought it was nice that Bear has a discovery feed, so why not optimize it to meet and share with more people in this community?
My English isn’t particularly good; it’s a bit rusty since I don’t get to use it often. As I get older, it feels harder to keep my skills sharp, so let’s say this is one of my efforts.
Using the term Weeknotes seems appropriate and recognizable, since many people use it too. I’m not sure if I’ll update it every week, but this is a good place to start.
What I’ve been doing
Back to the natural rhythm of juggling office work and housework. I took one day of leave, plus the weekend and a national holiday, so I had four days off. I didn’t plan anything and spent most of the time sleeping. Sleeping off stress is my coping method.
However, today I feel better and somewhat ready to tackle work and planning. I still need some adjustment though.
What I need to take care of
Work to-do lists: planning for next month, workshops, and another big event in October
Resetting financial goals for the end of the year and getting back to tracking expenses after three months off
Folding laundry and preparing weekly meal plans
Keeping an eye on my dad’s health, since he’s such a stubborn man
I originally thought writing this would be quick, but I ended up delaying publishing because I forgot to finish it. Let’s see if I can keep up with it next week.
