Family Traditions
This year marks my fifth year of marriage. As we settle into our daily routines, some accidental traditions have formed:
- I take a break from cooking and we enjoy take-outs every Saturday, specifically starting with Lontong Padang for breakfast. (You should try Lontong Padang at least once; make sure it's a tasty one)
- We explore a new coffee brand every weekend; whether it's a take out order or new coffee shop, or just simply trying a new brand from the nearest minimart. So far, our favorite is Fore.
- Drinking exclusively loose leaf tea at night. Right now we're rotating through Teasely's starter packs.
Routine becomes tradition, and tradition becomes memory. I love that I can associate small things, like coffee orders, with happiness.
I hope it always stays that way.
